The struggles that come along in growing a business are quite apparent especially, when we are doing it ALL alone. Most of us are in the comfort zone of staying in the same routine, using the same strategies ( even if they are not working anymore ) and keeping the same association with the same circle of people or professional groups.
Today, our times are changing. It is essential to know as many people as possible. We should be open to learning from others and establish relationships that will help us in the long run. Many of us are still new to the concept of networking. What does it mean to network? Why do we need to network? How do we network? We ask all these questions…. the bottom line is successful women ( and men ) must network in order to meet new people and to experience professional growth with the support of others alike.
It’s not just for the old. It’s not just for the business owners and entrepreneurs. It is for everyone, young or old – in business or employment. Networking is crucial to one’s personal and professional development. Networking is necessary to help grow in business and in entrepreneurship.
Another importance of Networking is that it helps us move up the Influential Ladder. It means that if our expertise, our business or our goal is to expand our reach nationally or internationally – we MUST leave the comfort zone, explore a new group and actively attend different networking events outside our local or repeated circle.
We should always look for a well suited networking event and professional groups that will have the support system or information to help us in our business but also, to help us grow further.

Nice article, maybe you would like to blog on our site, you are welcome to. We Tweet http://twitter.com/WAHMBN
Networking is smart marketing. For the most part it’s free, yet takes time, which is priceless. Economies of efficiency in everything we do are paramount to any success. Whether it means using tools like TwitPic across fb, myspace, linkedin, and other outlests, they all provide another avenue of diverse users to connect with us, or finally take the plunge, and say, “You know what, that person does have great content.” And then they connect.
Developing tricks for efficiency then, becomes one of the most overlooked areas in which social media is underserved. The more profiles created, the more comments left while researching, the more we recognize the internet as our canvas to leave as wide a swath as we choose on every site we visit, then we are truly being efficient. In some way, a good read is also an opportunity.
